Last week was not my best, I actually made a last minute change for my survivor pick to Tampa Bay which made no difference as they screwed me over late game. Not to mention Jacksonville getting a FG blocked and proceeding to lose by 2. All-in-all a tough week, but I feel good, this is a bounce-back week right here.
Week 3 Record: 3-3
- Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons OVER 50.5
I am a big fan over the over here, Carolina has not played well recently and Atlanta puts up big numbers on offense. Carolina, in my opinion, is the better team, but you cannot discount how big of an advantage it is playing at the Georgia Dome.
- Oakland Raiders +3.5 at Baltimore Ravens
I’ve been very vocal about how I think the Ravens are the worst 3-0 team we have ever seen. Oakland has a really good offense going up against a Ravens’ defense that was exposed early against Cleveland. Even Joe “Elite” Flacco won’t be able to make up for the 3.5 points.
- Denver Broncos -3.5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Denver looked so good last week on the road in Cincy, a much tougher road environment than Tampa. Jameis has looked good but he hasn’t played a defense of this caliber and if Siemian can repeat his performance from last week this will be a blowout.
- New Orleans Saints at San Diego Chargers -4 & OVER 53.5
Very high line for the o/u but the Saints scored 32 last week against a better Falcons team. Meanwhile half the starting defense for San Diego is hurt, but they have Philip Rivers who has been dynamite this season. This will either be a shootout like MNF or an absolute dud, obviously my money is on a shootout.
- Survivor Pick: Washington Redskins
It is really hard to not bet against the Browns right now, 3rd string quarterback Cody Kessler played well enough to keep them in the game last week against Miami, but they couldn’t seal the deal (3 missed FGs). It seems like no matter what this team does or how well it plays, they just can’t get over that hump. Throw in how well Washington played last week at NY Giants and this should be a Skins winner.
