Another great week last week, the damn Titans laid an egg and cost us the perfect week. Let’s nail it this week, just in time for some holiday shopping.

Last Week: 4-1 (1-0)

Overall: 35-11 (5-3)

  • Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions -3

These teams are in polar opposite trajectories right now. The Lions have miraculously risen to the top of the NFC North and the Vikings have fallen from glory losing 4 of their last 5 including one in Chicago (yikes). Detroit has won their last 3 Thanksgiving Day games, highlighted by last year’s dismantling of the Eagles.

  • San Francisco 49ers at Miami Dolphins OVER 44.5

The Niners are a horrendous football team. Truly awful. They are very fortunate the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns are around to make them look better. But Miami is really clicking of late and has found an absolute gem in Jay Ajayi. Tannehille has learned to quarterback the defensive front is beyond impressive. I’m debating also taking Miami -7.5 because they are rolling with 5 straight wins. But I like the over a little better here, despite San Fran’s overall ineptitude, the offense is still averaging 20 points per game.

  • Carolina Panthers at Oakland Raiders -3.5

The Raiders are one of the hottest teams in the league and have won 4 straight since the loss at home to Kansas City. All 4 of those wins covered this spread and I think that while Carolina has won 3 of 4, they’ve done so against some weak opposition. Oakland is a tough place to play and Derek Carr and company seemed to have gotten the train back on track.

  • Seattle Seahawks -6.5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Seattle is heating up and that defense is coming off of a really nice game against Philly. Russ is finally starting to play well and the team is getting healthy. On the flip side Tampa Bay has won back-to-back games including a road win at KC. But I do not trust Jameis against this defense.

  • Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles OVER 47.5

Packers overs have been good to me this year, I see no reason to bet against it when they let Kirk Cousins drop 42 on them last week. This game is in Philly and is do-or-die for rookie Carson Wentz. It is the perfect opportunity to get him and the team back on track and make a run at the Wild Card.

Survivor Pick: Buffalo Bills

It is cold and it is snowy in the Buffalo area, the exact opposite weather that Jags’ quarterback Blake Bortles is accustomed to. Could be a very long day for the Jags and this is a good Buffalo defense.
